One of my close Sikh friends 'Amarjit Singh Ahluwalia' recorded his religion as Hindu while filling-up his documents at the time of recruitment in a government service in the year 1969...

In fact Hindu families used to volunteer one son each from their families to become a Sikh (शिष्य / disciple) and strengthen Hindu / Sikh forces. Even today, there is no restriction between Sikhs and Hindus on marriages and dining (रोटी / बेटी के व्यवहार में प्रतिबन्ध नहीं है)

Sikh religion was a panth (पंथ / path) at the time of its inception. It was an armed organization of Hindus who were enrolled for fighting against the Moguls and their forced conversion of Hindus into Islam. But the Sikh panth was subsequently recognized as a separate religion by the independent government of India.

Hindu religion is already infected with the inhuman system of castes. Manu Smriti (मनु स्मृति) supported the idea of 4 varnas (वर्ण) that is Brahman (ब्राह्मण), Kshatriya (क्षत्रिय), Vaisya (वैश्य) and Sudra (शूद्र). Nevertheless, after many centuries, the 3rd grade kings and village heads of India discovered thousands of casts for practicing slavery and get their jobs done all for free of cost.

Today you cannot count the number of casts in Hindus. Just name a profession and we have a caste for it.

Shame on us...

With this set of mind any attempt of social reformation in Hinduism resulted into a new religion. We do not have only many Hindu casts ... we also have many pro-Hindu religions...
  1. Hindu...
  2. Buddhist...
  3. Jain...
  4. Sikh...
  5. Arya samaj...
  6. Kabirpanth...
etc etc...

Automobiles: What will happen if we press electric start button in running engine condition of a bike..?

Question by Ram:

What happens if we pressed an electric start button for a vehicle which is already started?
I pressed my bikes electric start button while riding my bike....!! does it harms bike??

Best Answer by Harish Jharia: Chosen by Asker

Electric start system has an electric motor that turns the engine shaft at a rate of RPM (revolution per minute) sufficient for starting the engine of your bike.

In fact electric start is a substitute to mechanical start feature known as 'Kick'...
If you push the electric start button / key in running engine... it will result in a condition similar to that you push the kick in the same condition...

Practically it will not harm the vehicle... nevertheless, it is not desirable and you should not do it intentionally...

Prime Minister and President in India

Questions and Answers…

Resolved Question:
What is the difference between the Prime minister and President in India?

Question: asked 7 months ago on Yahoo Answers

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters

President of India is the head of state and the supreme commander of the Indian Armed forces. All the resolutions passed in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are sent to him / her for final approval.

Prime Minister of India is the head of the government having all the powers in his hands. Yet PM is selected / elected / picked-up from among the members of parliament by the members of both the houses, as the PM is expected to be appointed according to the Indian constitution.

Unfortunately the PM is practically picked-up by the head of the ruling party or the office bearers of the ruling party.

India needs PMs that is elected by all the constituencies of India directly, irrespective of his / her party affiliation, just in the way the presidents in the US are elected from every nook and corner of the country.

In India many times PMs were appointed by merely based on the number of the MPs who got majority in the election and got power in the union government even by horse trading of independent MPs or the MPs of some unknown and least known regional parties.

Indian system of appointing the heads of government needs to be changes. In fact the PM should have the powers of head of government as well as the head of the state.
