US President Barack Obama has plans to visit India in early November and the first lady Michelle Obama is quite excited about the prospective trip.
Obamas have expressed this desire to the Indian External Affairs Minister S. M. Krishna at a reception hosted by them, at the Natural History Museum in New York in honor of the heads of delegations attending the United Nations General Assembly. The president mentioned about his plans for India visit in his speech in the UN general assembly.
The President spoke… “Later this fall, I will travel to Asia. I will visit India, which peacefully threw off colonialism and established a thriving democracy of over a billion people”.
President Obama addressed the annual gathering of world leaders in his second address to the world body since becoming the President of the United States.
