Editors Page: Discover Life Opens a New Section ‘Superstitions’ On the Magic Date 12.12.12

India is one of the most superstitious countries in the world

Today’s date is 12.12.12… the magic figure that would not repeat in our life time. The world will have to wait for another 100 years for this date to repeat. Even the latest similar combination of day, month and year that is 01.01.01 will fall only after 89 years.

I do not believe on numerology, astrology or any sort of predictions based on numbers, dates of birth or constellations of planets and stars. Nevertheless, I do give importance to such magic figures that do not repeat in our lifetime.

I came across with a similar combination of figures on 11.11.11 and I took that opportunity for opening a new section for Senior Citizens. I would again mark today’s occasion of another magic figure 12.12.12 for opening a new section ‘Superstitions’ that will cover the deep rooted superstitions and misbeliefs spread among the Indian people.

I would like to mention here that I have already started a mission against the most deadly superstition Manglik ‘Syndrome’ or ‘Manglik Dosha’. You will find many articles on this subject in our site ‘Discover life’. I have also opened an active Group “Mission against Superstitious Manglik Syndrome / मांगलिक अंधविश्वास विरोधी मिशन” on Fasebook. Visitors would like to join the same.
