Apple’s Co-founder and Inventor Steve Jobs Passes Away, Succumbing to Prolonged Pancreatic Cancer

Apple Inc are known for their world famous and extremely popular products like iPhones, iPods, Macintosh compuers etc. iPhones have dominated the mobile market across the world and iPods have revolutionized the music recording and playing- stereophonic sound system technology. 


One of the founders and inventors of most of the products of Apple Computer, Steven Paul, popularly known as Steve Jobs has passed away on October 5, 2011 in California, USA at the age 56. He was suffering from pancreatic cancer for the last seven years.

Steve Jobs was an American computer entrepreneur and inventor. He was co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. He previously served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios also. Following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney in 2006, he became a member of the board of directors of Walt Disney Company. 


In the late 1970s, Steve Jobs—along with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Mike Mark Kula and others, designed, developed, and marketed one of the first commercially successful lines of Apple personal computers. 


As a result of power struggle in Apple Inc, Jobs resigned from there and founded NeXT, a company specializing in the higher-education and business markets. However in 1996 he landed back in Apple after its merger with NeXT. Eventually, he served Apple as its CEO from until August 2011, when he breathed his last.
